180 East Bay Street, originally built in 1794 and renovated in the 1980s, required the demolition and rework of the exterior stucco before a full exterior repaint. The project initially involved simple exterior prep and repainting, but it expanded after discovering deteriorated structural components and stucco damage. Peters, along with a local engineer, was hired to repair the structural issues and replace most of the stucco, including the lath, base, and finish layer, ensuring it was suitable for a Class A substrate for priming and finishing.
