After 20 years as Charleston’s premier event venue, Credit One Stadium (formerly Volvo Car Stadium), underwent an extensive renovation to enhance guest experience and attract world-class athletes and performers. The renovation increased the seating capacity from 7,000 to 11,000 seats and features a new 800-ton steel cantilevered canopy system for shade and staging. The 110-foot elevation which required a 200-foot crane and operator, could only be painted by hand.
